Ca la Julita is a 19th-century country house, formerly called Mas Xaragat, that has belonged to the family since 1935, when great-grandmother Julita bought it, hence its current name. The building is used for tourism, particularly wine tourism, and is located in the Natural Park of the Mountain of Montserrat, in the municipality of Castellbell i el Vilar (county of El Bages), which forms part of the UNESCO Global Geopark of Central Catalonia. Important walking and cycling routes for the county can be found just 2 km from the house, such as the Camí de Sant Jaume, Camí Ignasià and Camí Oliba.

The house has a small winery that can be visited, where the family make their own homemade wine. Visitors are provided with an explanation of how it's made and also visit the vineyards. There is also an area called ‘El Racó del Vi’ (Wine Corner), with a wide range of wines from different wineries in the Pla de Bages DO. The house's stables are multipurpose, equipped with a dining room, kitchen, WC and bedroom. And the house itself holds the Montserrat apartment, with a capacity for 4 people. A large number of activities can be enjoyed from Ca La Julita to get to know the surrounding area, such as visiting the producers of ""mató"" (curd) and cheese from Montserrat, visiting different wineries in the Pla de Bages DO offering packs of wine-related tourist experiences, with tastings and pairings (which can also be enjoyed at Ca La Julita). Activities such as horse riding, climbing, guided hiking and cycling routes are also available. We're located in an area brimming with wine-related heritage, such as dry-stone huts, vats and lime kilns. Just 500 metres from the house you can also visit the mill known as Molí de l’Alzina, which dates from 1500 but is in a perfect state of conservation. And there is also an old subsidiary mill on the estate of Ca La Julita, which can be visited.
