Sanmartí
"The Sanmartí winery was already producing wine in 996 and we have recently reconditioned and adapted the whole winery, taking advantage of some historical features such as the pottery vats used to produce wine.
Their location beneath the ""masia"" or main building means we can take advantage of gravity, as well as benefiting from a naturally stable temperature.
Our winery is defined by its great historical and family heritage, by its agricultural processes that take advantage of the legacy inherited from a brilliant era in our recent past as well as incorporating the best technology to ensure we produce high quality wines with the minimum of intervention using certified organic procedures.
In addition to recovering the old vines of Macabeu and Sumoll that already grew on the estate, we have also replanted vines around the winery. We've chosen land whilst also respecting the biodiversity of our region, currently made up of woods of white pine, Holm and other oaks, box, thyme, rosemary, cereal crops, olive and almond trees, as well as restoring beds of plants with dry-stone banks that are typical of the Bages region."
